University Honors Design Assistant
April 2021, Work Projects using Illustrator, After Effects, and AEM website manager︎Overview: I joined the University Honors Program (UHP) as a part-time design and media assistant in January of 2021 and I have continued to work a mix of virtual and in-person work since then. I am tasked with a breadth of projects that range from ten minute videos to short, five second social media clips. Many of my day to day responsibilities involve graphic design work like slideshows, informational documents, stickers, and working on the University Honors Program website.
︎Objectives
- Maintain UHP values of inclusion, excellence, and innovation
- Follow university decorum and brand guidelines
- Appeal to prospective and current honors students
︎Graduation Video: The 2021 Graduation Video is created by the design and media assistant to be played at the honors graduation as a way to highlight the students and their accomplishments.

︎Social Media Content: Short, sharable content created to convey information about UHP advisors and the open transition application while being lighthearted and interesting to students.
︎Document Design: As part of my responsibilities I was tasked with creating informational documents to be shared with other departments or with students in the honors gateway class.

︎Presentation Design: Slides like these are a part of larger presentations shown to potential students, parents, and current students. Many presentations have short turn-a-round often needing to be completed with a day.
︎Website Managment Work on the honors website was done through AEM website manager. Student assistants such as me edited and added the content of webpages like these.
